“We need to live in harmony with Mother Earth, a harmony that is based on co-existence and respect. She owns us . . . we don’t own her. It is through respect for the land and taking care not to abuse the land that we are able to survive.”–Mandawuy Yunupingu, Aboriginal Australian musician and educator
This is so true. How much better our world could be, if more people had realized this…

Thank you, Kary! I’m doing well. And you too, I hope! I’ve been following your blog for several years, now. Always interesting to see what Runningintolife has to say 🙂
Glad you’re well, Jan. I’ve been following your blog for years as well. I need to check in and see what you’ve been up to at Jan’s Bulletin Board. I’ve been a little out of touch with my blog friend from Norway! 🙂
Mother Earth has been in existence for 4.5 billion years now and we have another 5 billion until the Sun swells and burns the planet into non-existence. Hence, there is significant time remaining for preserving God’s wonderful creation. Should the present trend toward future human colonization of Mars and Saturn’s moon Titan continue, us humans will expand into other natural resources which will mandate preservation.
Thanks, William, for your thoughts. 🙂
